The focus is not only on the products themselves but also on the packaging and labels, which should be free of intentionally added PFAS.

One key aspect that will be discussed at the conference is the need for caution in advertising efforts to reformulate products. Labels claiming "PFAS free" may be misleading to consumers, as even the most rigorous practices cannot fully prevent unintentional contamination. This cautionary note underscores the challenges faced by brands and retailers in navigating the evolving landscape of PFAS regulations.
